In 2007, Tiffany Le attended a national Asian leadership conference sparking her desire to bring an Asian-Interest sorority to the campus of the University of West Florida. She wanted to promote Asian awareness and cultural diversity on campus and within the community. Soon she began her search for other potential young ladies with the same interests. She came into contact with Jennifer Albesa, Honey Nguyen, Evangelina Galvez, Kristine Medina, Juliette Albesa, and Sarah Nguyen. On October 10, 2008, together they formed the interest group Females Achieving Cultural Exploration with Service (also known as F.A.C.E.S.).
As an interest group they worked diligently on becoming visible on campus taking up leadership positions in other organizations, putting on many successful events, and volunteering within the community while also promoting Asian awareness and cultural diversity. They overcame many obstacles, experienced heartache and fought past much opposition. They received support from their family and friends as well as faculty and other Greek organizations on the UWF campus.
Finally, on March 27, 2010 history was made as the 'Signature Seven' chartered for Delta Phi Lambda, the first multicultural and first Asian-Interest Greek lettered organization at the University of West Florida.
