We strive to advocate for not only ourselves but also the greater Asian community. We seek to provide a united voice to positive change on issues, including immigrant rights, Asian violence prevention and awareness, APIA-focused voting rights, and language access.
We are focused on engaging young women interested in deepening their understanding of Asian community issues, sharing Asian culture, and building trust between diverse groups of people that inspires local action. Chapters across the nation host events such as forums, presentations, and workshops to expose students and the surrounding communities to the value of civic engagement and the need for community leadership within the underrepresented Asian community.

Asian Exploration
This event celebrates different cultures and communities by collaborating with other student organizations through performances, good, and other activities.
Gallery Night Pensacola Lunar New Year Event
In celebration of Year of the Rat, UWF's Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. volunteered with the Asian American Student Union at the 2020 Lunar New Year Gallery Night event. Our sisters dressed in traditional Asian dresses, participated in a fashion show, helped run booths that spread awareness about a variety of Asian cultures, and handed out red envelopes to the kids on.
Spring Roll Nights
Our Chapter hosts Spring Roll Nights once a semester where we prepare the ingredients to make our own Vietnamese style spring rolls complete with delicious peanut dipping sauce. Of course, we put our own twist to things by frying up slices of SPAM and adding various vegetables such as cucumbers and bean sprouts, but all in all it is ALWAYS a good time.
Wonton Wednesdays
Every month, we come together to make wontons for Wonton Wednesday. It is a successful cultural fundraising event that is greatly supported by the Greek community and the UWF campus community. We make both pork and cream cheese wontons served with sweet n' sour sauce that cost 2 for $1 and 5 for $2.
3rd Annual Men of Color Retreat
Our Lovely Ladies performed a cultural island inspired dance at this event. "We are reaching out to students, faculty, staff, and invited guests of all races and nationalities. Although the focus of the retreat is the success of men of color, we welcome and invite all interested persons to participate. This includes women, faculty, students, and all ethnic groups. It is through this type of multidimensional participation that we will be able to expand this retreat."
Ready, Set, Ramen!
We held a fundraiser that incorporated a ramen-eating contest! Contestants paid an entry fee to try to eat the most cup ramen. The winner received a fabulous gift package from us!
